Urban Roots - Movie and Community Potluck
Produced by Leila Conners and Mathew Schmid and directed by Mark MacInnis, the film follows the urban farming phenomenon in Detroit. Urban Roots is a timely, moving and inspiring film that speaks to a nation grappling with collapsed industrial towns and the
need to forge a sustainable and prosperous future.
There will be a community potluck at 5:30 and the movie will be shown at 6:30. The date of the event is November 17, 2011.
The event will be held at the Barnard Environmental Magnet School, located at 170 Derby Ave in New Haven.
